I’m now one of a small team running my local art group at Bathampton. We meet every Thursday morning at Bathampton village hall where we paint , exchanging ideas and at least twice a term have a visiting professional artist to either do a demonstration or hold a workshop. New members always welcome.

I’m currently working on landscapes of Bath in oils using the well known artist LS Lowry as inspiration. I aim to have the figures telling a story to give life and interest to a composition. I’m also enjoying painting animals and birds in water colour.
If you’d like to find out what paintings I have currently for sale please don’t hesitate to contact me, I’d love to hear from you.

I recently had a painting accepted and exhibited at the Bath Society of Artists open exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. This was used to advertise the exhibition and was featured in The Bath Life magazine and the Bath magazine over the Christmas period. It was on the large posters outside the gallery and even on the back of the ladies toilet doors in the Pump room! All very exciting and the painting was sold.
Two paintings displayed in the corridor of the Royal United Hospital in Bath as part of the Bath open studios exhibition also sold helping to raise funds for the hospital charity “Art at the Heart “.
I’ve had several commissions of animals painted in water colour for clients in Germany as well as commissions of local scenes nearer home. LS Lowry inspired scenes in oil being very popular.
Our next exhibition is on Sat 26th April at Bathampton village hall, Holcombe Lane. I shall be there all day so please come, see the art work and say hello.
